Information We Collect for SMS: When you opt in to receive SMS text messages from Davis Delivery Service, we collect your mobile phone number and name. We may also collect records of messages sent and received, opt-in and opt-out timestamps, and delivery confirmation data.
How We Use Your Phone Number: Your mobile phone number is used solely to send you SMS messages related to delivery updates, scheduling notifications, and service communications from Davis Delivery Service. We will only send messages to numbers that have opted in to receive them.
No Sharing with Third Parties: We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your phone number, SMS consent, or opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your phone number may only be shared with our SMS service provider solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf, and they are contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your delivery activity and service needs.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Please contact your carrier for details.
Opting Out of SMS: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS messages unless you re-subscribe. Opting out of SMS does not affect other communications (such as email) from Davis Delivery Service.

Data Retention: We retain your phone number and SMS opt-in records for as long as you remain subscribed to our messaging program, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Once you opt out, your number is removed from our active messaging list. Opt-in and opt-out records may be retained for up to 5 years for compliance purposes.
Data Security: We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your phone number and messaging data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
